Events

Responsible for finding, coordinating, and event logistics and/or assists with in-person events such as adoption days, fundraisers, and community meetups. Responsibilities can include event setup, staffing a table, interacting with the public, and managing dogs on-site.

Fundraising

Supports efforts to raise money for the rescue, including planning fundraising campaigns, reaching out to potential donors or sponsors, and organizing fundraising events or online giving pushes.

Administrative Support

Handles administrative tasks such as entering intake and medical records into tracking systems, maintaining accurate files for the organization, responding to emails, and other support tasks.

Animal Transportation

Drives dogs between locations as needed — for example, rescue pickups, vet appointments, foster placements, or adoption meet-and-greets. Requires a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.

Foster LUV Lead

Manages the foster program day-to-day, including vetting foster applications, matching dogs with available foster homes, communicating with fosters about expectations, and troubleshooting issues that come up during a foster placement.

Medical Liaison

Coordinates medical care for fosters and adopters, including scheduling vet appointments, tracking treatment plans, and communicating medical updates and instructions between the rescue and foster families. No vet or medical experience necessary.

Adoption LUV Lead

Manages the adoption process from application to placement, including reviewing adoption applications, communicating with prospective adopters, and coordinating meet-and-greets and adoption finalization.

Operations Coordinator

Supports the overall functioning of the rescue by helping coordinate schedules, volunteers, and logistics across programs, and serving as a point of contact to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Marketing

Supports the organization's outreach efforts through tasks like writing newsletters, creating flyers or promotional materials, and identifying press or partnership opportunities.

Creative

Contributes design or creative assets for the rescue, such as graphics, photography, video, or written content used across marketing materials, social media, events, and merchandise.

Social

Manages or contributes to Mutt Luv Rescue's social media accounts. Tasks may include photographing or filming foster dogs, writing post captions, planning a content calendar, and supporting campaigns tied to fostering or adoption pushes.

Transportation Coordinator

Organizes and schedules animal transport logistics, including matching transport volunteers with pickup/drop-off needs and coordinating timing across multiple trips or drivers.

Community Manager

Handles day-to-day engagement with the online community — responding to comments and direct messages, answering questions from prospective adopters or fosters, and maintaining consistent communication across platforms.

Partnerships

Builds and maintains relationships with outside organizations, businesses, or sponsors, including identifying potential partners and managing ongoing partnership logistics.
